The Pollinator Pot Project

Helping to re-wild the back gardens of the Romney Marsh & create pollinator 'pit-stops'' for insects!

Be a Pollinator Pot Hero!

Did you know..... three-quarters of our insects have disappeared in the last 30 years....?  Less insects (such as bees, butterflies, ladybirds etc) = less birds (such as house sparrows, blackbirds, wrens, swallows, robins etc) and less hedgehogs, spiders, bats, fish, frogs and toads.

It's easy to make a difference!

School children across the Romney Marsh have been taking part in the Pollinator Pot Project, sowing wildflower seeds that will grow and produce vital nectar to feed our endangered insect pollinators.  Watch the short slide show below to see what they've been up to!

Watch the short film below to find out how you can make a difference in your own back garden!
